Terms of Use — Pulse Events Effective Date: April 28, 2026 Developer: Ádám Dávid Varju
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Pulse Events (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Ádám Dávid Varju grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
3. Description of the App
Pulse Events is a social platform available in Hungary. It allows users to create and discover local events, chat with other users, and take, upload, and share photos with friends and event attendees.
4. User-Generated Content
The App allows users to post text, messages, photos, and event information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your content. By posting it, you grant Ádám Dávid Varju a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the App solely to provide the service. You are solely responsible for all content you submit and for ensuring you have the right to share it.
5. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior
Pulse Events enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following are strictly prohibited:
Hateful, threatening, or harassing content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
Sexually explicit or pornographic material
Content that promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
Spam, scams, or deliberately misleading content
Sharing personal information or images of others without their consent
Impersonating another person or entity
Bullying, intimidation, or sustained harassment of other users
Any content that violates Hungarian or European Union law
All reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Confirmed violations result in immediate content removal and, where appropriate, account suspension or permanent ban.
6. Reporting and Blocking
Users can report any post, message, photo, or event directly in the App. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Users can block any other user at any time. Blocking immediately removes that user's content from your feed and prevents all further contact. We are notified when a block is connected to a content report.
We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
7. Photos and Media
By uploading or sharing a photo through the App, you confirm you have the rights to share it and, where applicable, the consent of any identifiable individuals pictured. Sharing photos of others without their consent is prohibited. Non-consensual intimate imagery will be removed immediately upon report.
8. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them with others. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in the App — excluding User Content — is the property of Ádám Dávid Varju and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. No part of the App may be copied, modified, distributed, or reverse-engineered without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ádám Dávid Varju shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
12. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian data protection law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hungary.
